Goodwill of Puerto Rico is a nonprofit organization recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which means that donations made to Goodwill of Puerto Rico may be deductible for federal tax purposes. Currently, Goodwill of Puerto Rico is in the process of obtaining certification under Section 1101.01 of the Puerto Rico Internal Revenue Code for local tax exemption. Once approved, donations made from January 1, 2023, onward will be eligible for local tax deductions.
